Chelsea 2 Crystal Palace 1
Yet another lacklustre Chelsea performance with the obligatory
chances missed and the usual shakiness at the back. Chelsea were
fully in control in the first half and should have led by more, but
when the best player on the pitch is Malo Gusto you know there's
something wrong and Chelsea's failure to increase their 1-0 lead led
to the inevitable Crystal Palace equaliser just before half-time.
Even though the link-up play between Jackson, Nkunku and Mudryk
looked promising, Pochettino was brave enough to make his five
changes in the second half to freshen it up, (Including Roméo Lavia
making his debut) and it was another one of those changes, Noni
Madueke who earned and scored the late penalty to put Chelsea 2-1 up,
which turned out to be good enough for the victory.
A fully deserved win - Crystal Palace were not great - but in typical
Chelsea fashion they made hard work of it. Well done the boys in blue
though.
MOTM: I'm gonna cheat and go with Gusto for the first half and
Madueke for the second half.

The American owners need to splash some cash in January - we deffo
