Andy Goram once threw his glove into a defeated Celtic dressing room and
said smell the glove.

Nah, that's just a rumour. I'mnot telling you what it really means :-)

PS bob, are you happy now that Davie Provan gave a Rangers player the MoM
today and didn't give a Celtic player MoM last week? Kinda blows your
paranoid theory out of the water.

I forgot to say that the MoM for the Celtic game was Derek Whyte :-)

Simply because I dont know, I would have gone for the popular Goram story
until you said nah. Why are you not telling?

I thought you probably knew what it meant. It was widely reported 3 years
ago, I guess it has slipped most people's memories. Several players were
quoted as saying that it was to do with Jonathan Gould's goalie gloves. He
had so many clean sheets due to having very few shots to save that you could
still smell the washing up liquid on his gloves.

Could be true.

Ah, now I see. I don't remember the incident being reporetd only the one
aboput Goram. It makes sense but I doubt the Gould one is right as it
seemed to me to be an obvious dig at Rangers and would probably have
something to do with them or one of their players.
