hes the guy with the red hair who used to do the weather on STV.
Shouldn't this have been posted to scot.superflous.nationalist.politicians?
maybe. but he was photographed during the election camapaign in goal
for hibs carrying an umbrella.
so there is clearly a footballing interest involved.

i kid you not.
it doesnt say much for the state of democracy in the fledgling
republic of caledonia when a weatherman dressed in a hibs top and
weilding an umbrella to protect his goalmouth can slip in unnoticed as
the MSP for Dumbarton Rock.
he is obviously keeping a low profile in the new parliament or maybe
canvassing for converts in the bars around the royal mile.

there alway were strong affiliations between the SRSP and the nats if
i remember rightly.
they were the only people who would have anything to do with each
other.
as someone at the time said the only people clamouring for scottish
independance were the republicans (nationalists) and the socialists.

Sam speaks the truth on this one Ade (although I was convinced that
you had to have a surname of Ewing before you were allowed to be
elected for the SNP). I don't know if I'd go as far as to say he looks
like Andy Goram though. That could be libelous....:+)
We can always look forward to "Heather with the Weather" Standing next
time, couldn't we....
