Can anyone please tell me who it was who broke his arm after during the
celebrations after Arsenal won The FA Cup a few years ago? I say Andy
Linighan My mate says Steve Morrow . There quite a few beers on this.

You must have had quite a few beers when you started thinking about it.
Steve Morrow broke his collar bone when Tone dropped him after the 1993
League Cup final. Then Andy Linighan did the only useful thing he has ever
done and scored the winner in the FA Cup final the same year. But he didnt
break his arm, as far as anyone knows. Steve Morrow was sat in the stand,
contemplating a long and fruitful career at QPR.

I think you'll find you're confusing breaks and finals. Steve Morrow got
dropped by TA during the League Cup Final celebrations and shattered his arm
but Andy Linighan had his nose broken by Mark Bright during the FA cup final
replay. So a technical draw I think so I'll see you for those beers then.

For some reason my firs tpost on this hasn't come up. So to repeat: Steve
Morrow got dropped by TA celebrating the League Cup Final win and shattered
his upper arm. Andy Linighan got his nose broken by Mark Bright in the FA
cup final shortly before he headed the winning goal. So a technical draw -
5 pints of lager please.

It was the league cup final, and Tony Adams did contribute to Steve Morrow
breaking his arm

It was Steve Morrow in the Coca-Cola cup. He missed the FA cup as a result.
