Apparently, part of the deal of securing Bo's interview was that he
was allowed to deliver a sales pitch for the scammers he's currently
working for.
He was obviously reading, and doing a very poor job of it. If you
heard it, or know where to find a podcast of it, you'll recognize some
near-quotes (as near as my memory allows)
"Every one needs to have disability insurance. It's not just for
suhhhhhhhh-lebrities, not for just the Bo Jacksons of the world. It's
for the average guy who works a 9 - to - 5 . . . who works a 9 - to -
5, or 3 - to - 11, or 11 - to 7."
Then later,
"Every one should contact <whatever the company was> to ac- . . . ac-
. . . acquire disability insurance."
I picture Bo Jackson doing hundreds of these interviews on stations
all across the country, in exchange for the sales pitch. I just
wonder if this was the first one, and if anyone made sure he could
read the sales copy before they turned him loose.
Man, it was embarassing.
