Canucks on top but only .500 past 10 games. Kings rising. Many teams clustered at 9-11 wins. Teams from Calgary down to San Jose will be hard pressed to catch the pack. Top six down to Avalanche likely to stay near the top all season. Red Wings in the hunt after a few years in the lower levels, will Kane help move them up? Devils yesterday to return to last year’s form.
