Tikkanen cost us this game and a shot at the Stanley Cup. How do you
lay out such an awesome deke and miss a wide open net. This game
should've ended 5-3 maybe 6-3 with an empty netter late!!!!!!
Esa has a handful of rings but he's scored 2 goals into his own net
and missed the game 2 clincher that I could've scored for Christ's
sake!!! No excuse. He blew it.
This sucks!!!!!!!!
And if you did not have Esa on the faceoffs you might have been out many
rounds earlier.

Yeah I don't buy that blame Esa attitude either. These people are bashing
him for that play. All I can say is "hey the guy gave it his best shot". He
has been a good addition to the team. Maybe he's not the best contributor on
the ice, maybe he's not the best player, but let's face it folks this Caps
team has a very different attitude than previous Caps teams especially since
Bellows and Tikannen. They play like winners and they have confidence. What
more can we ask? They are seriously outmanned against the Wings yet they
have kept it VERY close. Man for man the Wings have THE BEST team in the
NHL. Yet our Caps have kept pace. At the Joe no less. An arena in which the
presidents cup trophy winners (Stars) couldn't do crap. So I am happy with
the way they've played. I look forward to game 3.

Duane Hay has as much of a chance to make the NHL as I do.
Great trade.

I said: "That's nothing!! You should hear me play piano !!"

I am looking forward to the game this weekend. I expect quite a show from
the Caps. I agree, as a Bruins fan, even at this age I would take Esa for
most any of our forwards!
