Bondra is NOT going anywhere for the next three years. He had just signed
a new contract that keeps him in Washington through to the 21st century.
I believe Fedorov is a free agent is he not? That would mean Detroit
doesn't have a right to compensation?
If Bondra doesn't end up being a CFL (Capital For Life) the only other
team he'll play for is Nashville... where David Poile is.

That is if Nashville ever comes into existence. According to Rangers
announcer John Davidson, the Predators are behind the needed season
ticket buyers required to join the NHL. I can't remember the exact
number of season tickets they need to sell, but I believe they have
about 60 days or so to meet the quota.
David Poile may be without a job again.
