I played hockey cards that year and don't remember that monstrosity.
Anyone else remember reading the back of the cards?
Anyways, it's too bad we made that trade. Milford drafted well and
Wagner is right that we might have had a better chance in '82 with
Vaive on the team. That being said, we might have had a better
chance with McCarthy, Bubla, and Lanz in the lineup. That's half the
defence...
