and boy have they gone up in price.

In 2001, the package was $59.95 for 11 games.
Now you can stick a "1" in front of that for 17
games.

Doesn't appear to be a bonus pre-season game
either this year.

Interesting. Can I ask how you know what the price was in 2001? Just
memory, or did you see it online somewhere? Cheers. DB.

You're obviously not doing the right drugs. You're missing out on some
"high" quality entertainment.

I pay $129 US for Centre Ice here in California on DirecTV, and I get every
single game from every single team... including the Canucks games.

Time to get a 'used' dish methinks.

I found a streaming TV application today that I used to watch the
Toronto/Detroit (yeah I know) baseball game today for no charge since it
wasn't on TV.

It streams HBO, Comedy Central, ESPN, ESPN2, ComCast Sports, and a couple
other sports channels too. (as well as about 10 other stations)
Too bad ESPN ditched the NHL or it may have been handy for at least a couple
of the PPV's this season. Who knows, maybe the Comcast one will?

I think for now I'll use it to watch Bill Maher and Extras without having to
torrent them.

Oh, and Jim, you'd be happy to know it has a stream of the Al Jazeera TV
network as well. ;-)

I'll dig out the link if anyone is interested.

Just download the application, and install it and you're pretty much set.

It's got a lot of talk on the digg site, so apparently is safe to use.

It isn't an exact science, as it seems to rely on a sort of p2p system, and
the streams are user created.

If you get video but no audio, just restart the program.

Remember to close the application from your task window when you are
finished as well, in case the p2p function is consuming bandwidth.

here is a list of the channels currently on there. Some are offline at given
times.
