Avoid any church Burkie attends. Guess reading the Bible is not part of Burkie's $ is everything life. Burkie knows hockey doesn't know anything about GOD but to his credit he doesn't claim to.

Sunday’s game in Chicago is Pride Night.
Blackhawks management earlier this week announced the players wouldn’t be wearing specially designed warm-up sweaters promoting Pride. Many other teams have worn rainbow-themed jerseys in warm-up this season, including the San Jose Sharks, Los Angeles Kings and Florida Panthers.
The Blackhawks claimed their decision was about security risks to their Russian players, but the NHL says they’ve seen no evidence that the Russians — or their families — who play in the league are facing any issues at home despite Russia’s anti-gay crackdown.
Russian players on the Sharks, Kings and Panthers are choosing to wear rainbow sweaters.
But a trio of players has not: Sharks goalie James Reimer and Panthers brothers Erik and Marc Staal, with all three players citing religious beliefs.
Brian Burke says of NHL players wearing Pride jerseys: “It’s about saying this community is valuable and important and we want to honour them.”

On Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday, Pittsburgh Penguins president Brian Burke, a longtime advocate for gay rights and equality, expressed his criticism.
“With the religious reasons it just doesn’t compute for me. I was born and raised a Catholic. I don’t see any conflict between my religious beliefs and the ability to say to the LGBTQ+ community, you’re welcome here. That’s all Pride night is: You’re welcome in our building. They’re not asking you to sign any forms or ask you to join any churches. It’s about saying this community is valuable and important and we want to honour them,” Burke said.
“We’ve got to stick to our guns on the LGBTQ+ front. NHL supports everything that’s being done here.
(Greg: New league please.)
The individual teams do, the players do. We’re talking about a small number of players. And I do think there is a dichotomy and a distinction between what we’re saying at these games, that you are welcome here and someone saying that it goes against my religious beliefs. It doesn’t make sense to me. Now, do I sense that we have bigger issues, and a blowback as you mention, Ron (MacLean) on the right? Yes, I do, and it scares me.” (Greg: I like seeing old fag hag rich men scared.)
The Canucks host Pride Night on Friday. The team is supportive of inclusion and equality and has worn a Pride-themed warmup jersey since 2017.
Asked earlier this week what their plans were for March 31, including whether they were going to be wearing a rainbow-themed sweater again, the team didn’t reply directly but said they would be announcing their plans at a future date.
