Canucks won 4-3 despite ending the first period down 3-0. They have won 5 in a row since Travis Green was finally fired and Coach Boudreau was hired. The Canucks winning streak is tied for the best in the league along with the Penguins, Predators and Avalanche. The crowd booed as did I when Halak let in the third goal right between his pads should have been a routine save. However Halak pleasantly surprised by not letting in the next goal. CBJ had only 22 shots all game and none in the first ten minutes of the third period. The Columbus goalie Elvis Merzlikins faced 39 shot. After the second Canuck goal https://www.nhl.com/canucks/video/pettersson-scores-goal/t-277437438/c-9909015 in which for some reason the Blue Jackets left Pettersson alone by the side of the net for two quality chances (he muffed the first one) was miffed and clearly exasperated after the third goal by the lack of defensive effort by his teammates and the dearth of shots on the Canucks net.

Horvat scored twice and Quinn Hughes had 3 assists. There were empty seats in all sections just like the previous game and the few scalpers were having trouble selling tickets. Vancouver Warriors cheerleaders were back no mid riff this time the lacrosse team plays its first home game Dec.17. The lower level customers leaving the facility were having fun singing, "Oppps what it is oops what it is." The Margarita bar on the 3rd level was closed and while there were lines at some beer vendors other concession stands had 3 taps with no customers. I stuck to the $4.50 bottled water. Attendance: 18,412
CAPACITY: 18,910

Had the cheese sandwiches which came on white bread hey cmon its 2021 how about brown or multigrain or sourdough? Be nice if someone sold a salmon dog. Previous game you could buy a small fruit tray but I didn't see that yesterday.

Next home game is against Toronto Sat. Dec.18 https://www.foxsports.com/nhl/toronto-maple-leafs-team-standings number one in the NHL with 42 points they haven't won the Cup since 1967.
