I ended up staying up for the last period of the game.
The guys did try hard to win one for Bruce, but came up
short. The way the radio team described Bruce behind the
bench in the last few minutes of the game was heartbreaking.
I would imagine that he'll head back to his home in Hershey
to await a new coaching call. With the way the league is
right now, I would think that it'll take longer for that
call to come than in previous job-searching attempts.
Yeah, I agree. The way it was all handled was extremely
poor management. Even worse than being fired over Zoom
like the Oilers did a few years ago with their coach.
Hey, NHL GMs! Try learning something about proper HR
skills and methods, and even more importantly how NOT
to manage.
