Last night produced a trifecta in Philadelphia that I cannot ever
remember before. Not that three of our teams all lost, but the way
they did. First Bubbles Manuel managed to blow a 4-1 lead with his
brilliant use of his pitching staff, then Ilya Byrzgalov scored an
"own goal" as the Flyers headed for the golf course, and finally the
Sixers managed a whopping 69 points in losing to a Chicago team that
is missing 40% of its starting five.

How do you top that?

Don't forget that Michael Vick got destroyed yesterday, by a teen:

Vick schooled in chess by teen

UPDATED MAY 9, 2012 2:05 AM ET

Michael Vick owns challengers on Lincoln Financial Field during the
football season. But on Tuesday, it was Vick getting schooled on his
home turf.

The four-time Pro Bowler, along with the Philadelphia Eagles, welcomed
more than 200 Philadelphia high school students to the stadium on
Tuesday afternoon for the Eagles Youth Partnership annual chess
tournament, according to Philadelphia Eagles.com.

Vick, who is a fan of the game and has played chess since he was a
child, took part in some matches and found himself severely
overmatched, especially against one competitor.

Jowel Ammons, 18, a senior at the Philadelphia Military Academy at
Leeds needed only 17 moves to dismantle Vick on the chess table.

Ammons is one of the few people to be able to say that he took down
Vick one-on-one. And he'll see the fruits from his labor as well, as
Vick promised Ammons a ticket to an Eagles game if he won.

"I'm going to have to get the ticket for him. I can't let him down,"
Vick said. "That would be very disappointing."
