Damn. Parent had the herniated disc when we first acquired him from
Nashville. Not a good sign that it's back.

Complaining? WHO'S complaining?
Au Revoire
I read today (on someone's Twitter feed) that Holmgren is denying that
report.

Philadelphia Phillies: 2009 NL Champions/2008 World Series Champions!!!!!
Well I hope you're right although I read it on Philly.com which normally
doesn't post anything unless they have newspaper-type sources as opposed to
rumors and innuendo. Most of their posts concerning injuries and
demotions/waivers, etc. seem to be consistently valid but maybe, just maybe
they jumped the gun on this one. I hope the best for Parent, he's too young
for back problems whether he plays hockey or not.
There's a mention of Parent in this item at Philly.com:
http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/inqflyersreport/Emerys_return_in_sight_.html
Holmgren also denied a published report that said defenseman Ryan Parent
had a herniated disc in his back. Holmgren said the "lower-body injury"
_ he refused to be specific _ was minor and that Parent was day to day.
Great, so it's true. :-/
