It's so much better when you know how you're voting already, because you
realize that you don't have to watch that crap. I don't know what I'd do
if sane, reasonable, rational people ever took control of the GOP back
from the American Taliban.

She doesn't need to to say it right, she only needs to know how to use
it. :-/

The poll results are funny. Biden has clearly won the majority of
them, but Palin gets points for simply not embarrassing herself. She
gets graded on a curve. Same old shit, as the GOP says Palin, the Dems
say Biden, but the truth lies in teh undecideds and undeclareds. Biden
wins, but does it even matter?

Biden was excellent. He was specific, he was factual, and he didn't
act condescending towards her. His confidence and knowledge shone
through brightly.

On the flipside, Palin really wasn't awful, but that is only because
she kept repeating her trained statements. She open admitted she'd
answer the questions how she wanted to answer them, which I thought
was a joke. Biden laid the smack down a few times and he she had no
rebuttal, as the debate simply moved to the next question.

hopefully, she'll never be in the position to know how to use it. that
said, in my opinion, she does need to know how to say it right. it's a
simple word. it's embarrassing. and it only further serves to continue
to the connection between the bush administration and this ticket.

agreed on all points. the republican media pundits are claiming
victory for palin because she was "folksy and fresh" while biden was
boring, political, and um, err, factual and correct. in terms of the
issues, he blew her out of the water. she didn't answer questions
directly, and constantly went back to her talking points and energy
and taxes every time she felt uncomfortable. her winking and betcha's
and darns etc seemed pathetic and phony, not real and folksy.

she didn't have any overt blunders like she's had over the last two
weeks, so she was successful in that area only. it did nothing to
shift the conversation in a meaningful way for mccain. he's packed up
shop and left michigan. she's out of her league, and i can not wait
until she goes back to alaska.

FWIW, I don't dig her. She is "hot" only in the sense that most people
in that position are not. She succeeds by comparison.

For example, the DA on the The Wire was not hot. But since she was the
only viable female character on the show, you pretty much talked
yourself into her and wanted to bang her by the 5th week. Then
whenever McNulty's wife made a cameo, you were ready to build a statue
for her.

Beyond that, she is anything but attainable. People like the MILF's
because they feel they are women they could snare. Most times its a
pipe dream, but that perception exists. Palin was a governor and is
running for VP, so all of that is out door. All that is left is
overrated looking conservative bitch who would probably welcome the
end of the world as we know it. Oh yeah, that makes me hot!

IMO her looks are not over-rated, she really ws a beauty queen, but I
could understand the resentment for McCain Throwing a hail-mary pass in
the last minutes of the game. She's making the race closer than it ever
should have been. I still haven't decided yet and it's not because of
her, because I'm focusing on the candidates, she's just fluff.

Like I said before I hope the best man for this country takes the job and
keeps this country afloat for the next four years. I guess times are
pretty damned uncertain when the only thing you hope from the next
president is to not fuck things up further.

i had my run with plenty of milfs and cougars from the mid-90s through
the early 2000s and it was quite fantastic. i still love 'em, but now
i'm much more their peer because i'm getting old and shit, so it's not
quite the same. i'm married now anyway, so it's all moot anyway. she
teases me and tells me i should be going for 55-60 year olds now.

Regardless of looks, I still think she is a stupid cunt:

I mean, seriously... is this bitch for real?

Obama -- not perfect, but the lesser of 2 evils by a wide margin, imo.
