I remember it got killed by the critics when it came out. I thought it was
a riot. Every time I thought, "Damn, it can't get any worse..." (not the
movie, but all of the very bad things that kept happening), it did.

I saw it in an old theater in Hazleton. The screen was tiny and there were
maybe 200 seats in the place.

Note to Gutteridge:

If they house hosting the party has a wooden deck as its outdoor porch and
their appears to already have 100 guys on it.

DON'T GO OUT ON IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have noticed lately that porch decks and 20,000 lbs do not mix.(that would
be 100 drunk guys each weighing 200 pounds)

thoughts?

err, No
I do not patronize McDonalds,I eat fast food at Arbys or Taco Bell
My McDonalds complaints:

I at first decided to stop going there because of their continuing
persistance of putting too much ketchup, holandaise sauce or whatever on
their burgers.
but then I figured,Nah...........McDoanlds has pretty good breakfasts so I
will just order breakfast there.
So one morning on the way to church I go through the drive thru window and
order a sausage egg mcmuffin, hashbown and coffee.
well, with an egg mcmuffin you would trust you would get an english muffin
with egg,sausageand cheese in it.
well, the Exton McDonalds somehow mistook the upper half of the english
muffin
So as I am driving to church in my Pickup truck I reach in the bag for the
mcmuffin and get a handfull of yolk.

So once again I stayed away for a month or two................then one day I
figured........................Ok Milkshakes,they cant mess up Milkshakes,So
once again I go through the drive thru window.
Now the Night that I decided on this milkshake I was on the way home from a
ball game,I had spent all but $2.15 of my money at the ball
game............its 11pm,and I cannot get to the bank till morning to get
more money, and I do not use an ATM card.
So I tell the Foreigner working the drive through
window......................"Shamrock Shake in the $1.99 size"
Sounds easy right?.................Not for this guy...........he
replys...........Okay Sir thats $2.18,please pull up to the first window.
Now it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out there is only 12c tax
on $1.99 in pennsylvania where our tax is 6%
Basic Math..............$1.99+12c=$2.11...................I only have
$2.15..............and he is telling me $2.18......................So I pull
up to the window and he hands me a shake two sizes bigger than what I
ordered and tells me "That'll be $2.64 please."
Err.................No Pal................That'll be the size I ordered and
it'll be $2.11
So finally,He gets the size and price correct,I get my shake and start
drinking it as I drive away.........................He gave me Vanilla.

So the next day,I go into tell the manager about this guys
mistakes................I was pretty calm with the guy,but I told the
guy,you know some people in Exton would come through this line and there are
some real hotheads around here.
I made the mistake of ordering a sausage egg mcmuffin again before i left.

the wrapper said Sausage egg mc muffin on it.......................when i
opened the wrapper as I drove up the road something was
missing.....................the sausage....................That dummy put a
peice of canadien bacon in their instead.

So as for me...............................NO MORE MCDONALDS !

The one thing that got me to stop going there was when I stopped on my way to
work to get 2 hamburgers to take to work for my lunch break, I heated the up i

them.

Besides...isn't wine (i.e. a fruit product) loaded with carbs? Or does the
fermentation process somehow remove the fruit sugar from the drink?

Guy I know who did one of them diets used to drink light beer....inherently
low in carbs. My sister in-law's significant other is doing the low carb
thing and last time I was there they had some low carb Michelob I think it
was. Dunno how it tasted.

Zacly. Where as a sweet wine will have more carbs (because it has more
sugar), though I don't know it'll have as much as beer since beer's base
is malt.

I haven't tasted it, but I can only guess it's as good as light beer, i.e
just like making love in a canoe, i.e it's fucking close to water.

The thing with this carb bidness is, you don't have to toally eliminate
them if you back up dieting with exercise. And the benefits of exercise go
beyond weight. So have a beer or two, and remember to hit the gym or run,
bike, whatever.

Yeah, according to Atkins alcohol is a no-no. One of the problems is that
the alcohol itself behaves like sugar. Your body releases insulin in
response to it.

Now, other low-carb folks say that hard liquor is ok (in moderation).
That's how I justified a glass of scotch on occasion. ;->

One of the things you guys have to look forward to (or should just look
out for) is the "cheap date syndrome". If you're seriously low carbing,
you'll probably find that your capacity for alcohol goes way down; it'll
take far less to get you tipsy.
