Just a Silly (Joel) Item

As I looked up at the rafters of the Coliseum on Monday, I gazed up at the
Championship banners, saw the banners for the retired stars of yesteryear,
noticed that the Saints banners were gone (as is the team), and then a grey
(black) and white banner caught my eye.

Don't remember the raising ceremony for that one, but I'm sure it was a
stirring moment in the history of ...

Next time I go to a Devils game, I'll have to look for all the Springsteen
banners. After all, there must be a dozen or so of those banners up there,
considering all the consecutive dates that he has sold out at that arena.

I believe that's consecutive tour nights, not consecutive tours. Selling
out nine straight dates at the same venue during the same tour is pretty
impressive.

Don't laugh. There's a Springsteen banner in the Philly Spectrum, I
believe.

When I saw Paul last year at the coliseum I was sitting directly below the
stanley cup banners. I was in heaven! The Beatles and the Isles! Wow!
