Geoff Sanderson rumor

I was the first to get on green earlier this season, but he has looked pretty
damn good....every game he has come out with soem fire and played a good
game...can't knock success and he is putting up some nubers....i bet his
numbers are very comparable to sandersons at this pioint...tye only thing
sanderson brings to the table that Green doesnt is some more speed. however,
out of tyhe two, green is the better playmker..., straight up i think i would
do it, however, to thropw someoen else in would be a little wastweful...MM has
made a commityment to gritty grinding hockey players, sanderson doesnt fit
that miold....however, i do believe we need a scorer. Whopever sugegstedc
Linden had a great idea...another suggestion although it may be out of the
question now since he is signed would have been Mike Peca. other
possibilities i would cnsider are:
at the end of ths season the sharks may be looking to dump some dollars, and
frisen is a mighty good skater and scorer...definite possibility.
ottowa also now has an abundance of scorinf talent, and without duschene on
their blueline i ma sure they would take a good younbg defensman. and with
the hounds in montreal, richer has been in ther doghopuse for quite some time
now, i have always liked him and wouldnt moind seeing his blistering shot
beiong fired acroos the coliseum rink!

I saw in Newsday that MM was talking to Carolina about Geoff Sanderson.
The guy is a solid goal scorer (30+ goals), and he's young enough to
grow with this team. Believe it or not, the Hurricanes are interested
in Travis Green, and the Isles would probably have to throw in another
warm body. Hope it happens soon.
