Anyone else having problems logging into readfreenews the last couple
of days? I've been using XNEWS for years and now I'm getting "502
yellow.refreenews.net: Access denied to your node -
ne...@readfreenews.com"

Any suggestions for other reliable servers out there?

On a side note, does anyone know of a good free email client that
allows setting the server timeout?

Thanks,

Larry

Thanks but they have temporarily suspended registrations. Anyone have

Thanks for trying, davehx. I get the same error: 502
news.aliant.net: Access denied to your node

This one's got a one time 3.95 set-up fee, then it's free. I've used
it for years and it's pretty steady.

I use it for binaries but use Google for this group, don't ask me why.
