Reported on CKAC and other outlets:

There were over 100,000 demands for tickets for game 3 and 4 from all over
the world, including All Canadian Provinces & Territories, every US State
and not exactly Hockey Countries like Japan, China, France and Bahrein.

Oh shit, no, I hope that never happens. The Big 0 *is* a soccer stadium;
sightlines would be terrible for hockey. The worst imaginable.

Now, an exhibition at Molson Stadium...that's something I could see
happening.

Playoff hockey outdoors, good idea, but
in the spring? Unless its 'miracle ice', the surface would
pretty much suck.
What's the seating capacity at Molson Stadium? IIRC,
its close to that of the Bell Centre. Besides those with
boxes would likely protest any such venue change.

Nope, not playoffs...although the weather probably would have made it
possible early in the first round. I was thinking in terms of an
exhibition or regular-season game, say in December. Capacity is around
25,000.

After the Edmonton game, didn't the NHLPA
decalre they would protest any other outdoor games?

Maybe, I don't remember. I think they could be talked into it if there
were better plans for rescheduling to a warmer day if necessary. Making
it an afternoon game might be wise...

I dunno....I seem to recall the Habs starting to pull it all together to
make a run for the playoffs after that game when Theo wore the toque.
BTW, what happened to that thing? I heard something about the hockey
HOF, but did it belong to Theo, or does the team claim ownership of the
toque?

It went straight to the HOF.

Yeah, it was arguably the turning point of the season and Theo's hat
went straight to the HOF...but the players' association was still upset
about its members playing in such extreme conditions and might not let
it happen again. However, it's such a great marketing opportunity (if
done once in a while) that I think they could be talked into it with the
right conditions...
