has played more games than Koivu (nope - only 2 more), or Tucker is
playing with some real playmakers (he isn't but Koivu is or was with
Kovalev) or something. But I got nothing. Tucker with more points, yuck!
ok Jason - I'll give ya Koivu. There's no excuse, he's been a
disappointment. Now lets talk Ribs. He's been worse. 10 more games than
Koivu, 3 less points, a -10, 6 regular strength goals all year. SIX!!

dressing room and runner up for roy honors last year and he was the last
one to be signed to a measely 1 yr contract......makes ya wonder eh??

i feel that young ryder got a raw deal at the 12th hour by the habs and
that others on the team, ESPECIALLY riberio and teabg, where given
better contracts due to the fact that they are french canadian...
roberio himself is a laughing stock and showed so by starting a fight
with his captian and doing the funky chicken on the ice last season
until the ref called a penalty and then getting up and laughing aobut
it...he made a fool of himself, the ref and his team by doing that while
ryder quietly, was top 2 in goals and points, and wuietly went to work
everynight in a workhorse fashion, did not cause any disturbances on the
team at all, and was given one of the smallest and shortest contracts on
the team...to question those occurances are very legitimate dont you
think...

I would agree...Ribs isn't impressing at all..than again who is. But
for the Habs to pay Koivu the money he is or is going to get, is
mind boggling.

2. Ryder's contract was 10th on the team in money paid. NOT lowest on the
team or ONE of the lowest on the team. Did you have intimate conversations
with his agent? NO! Do you have any idea what his agent is like to deal
with when it comes to negotiating? NO. Middle of the road. Fair price for
someone who at that time had ONE good season. You chastise the Habs for
paying Theodore big bucks based on one season. Be consistent Darryl...you do
NOT know what you're talking about. Same as always. Your only consistency is

Are you joking?? As bad as Koivu is playing there is no way that
freakin' Ryder is better for this or any other team than Koivu. Ryder
couldn't set up a nice play if he tried and believe me he never does.
He never gives 100% out there and all he does is shoot from anywhere.
Teams are not built on players like that. Ryder deserves what he got.

others that i consider less worthy of their contracts does not include
koivoi, actually in truth i respect koivoi for his selfless play and
determination, sorry if that came across as a one to one comparison of
koivoi...it was nto meant to be...
riberio on the other hand is another case all together.....and i point
directly to him as a player paid a better contract than ryder simply for
the fact that he is from the area as his play has never reflected his
