I'm listening to the Wild's AHL team's game at Texas tonight: Jon
DiSalvatore just scored to put the Aeros up 3-2 on the Stars, with 9:09 left
in regulation.

What up dude, I'm actually a sabres fan. I'll check back here from time to
time. I don't follow the ahl, the sabres affiliate is the portland
pirates.
True, and the Aeros won that one in Cedar Park, 5-2. The Wild are in fourth
in the Northwest, thanks to going 8-2 in the last ten...and seven points
back of the Sabres, who provided me my first NHL game at the old Aud a
couple of nights before Christmas in 1976. (They got the Caps 5-2, who were
obviously still an expansion team that season. ;-)

I only went to one game at the aud. That's cool that you've been there.
They just tore that building down a few months ago. I was like 10 yrs old
and we sat in the nosebleeds for a flyers game.
I don't see the Sabres takin the conference lead, but I'm content if
they stay where they are in the division lead for now. They have been
playing well, they won friday night vs toronto (who they play tonight in
toronto) and they lost in a shootout against the penguins sat night. They
lost wed night to ottawa in ottawa, but they say that seven of them had
food poisoning from going out to dinner after practice. The rest of the
team didn't do too much to pick up the slack of the sick players that's
for sure.
