The Golden Age of the Hawks and the Death of Usenet?

It was a disappointing end to the season tonight. The Hawks will
need to make a few moves this summer to continue to be
competitive. The big contract to Corey and the extension to
Bollig will make things a little more difficult, but hopefully
not impossible.
As stated in the title, this is the Golden Age of the Hawks. We
have never before seen such a run of sustained excellence. They
should be Cup contenders if not favorites for several more
seasons. On the other hand, this newsgroup seems to be dead. I
guess people prefer blogs to newsgroup these days. I had hoped
that the Hawks winning a couple of Cups would get people to post
more articles, but just isn't happening. I'll keep checking in
and posting on occasion.
