If it wasn't for Hasek, no one would even know Buffalo still had a
hockey team. Any anxiety towards the Dominator should be thrown at
Sabres management for having not acquired someone who could do up front,
what he did in the nets.

"I'm mad cuz he left on his own terms". <rolling eyes>

He proved without leaving any doubt how great he was, and I hope he
comes back and wins another Cup...though I do grimace at the fact he'll
have to share it with Darien Hatchet.

Just ONE elite forward, and that Cup could've been raised in Buffalo -
by the Sabres.

I don't blame him for leaving and appreciate everything he did for the
Sabres. However, the way he left leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. He
basically "traded himself" then told the sabres where he was going and
for what price.

I fully appreciate what Hasek did for Buffalo. However, I have yet to meet
someone who is as arrogant and pompous as he was/is. I agree...let him fall
flat on his ass.

You seem to be missing the point...Buffalo management ALREADY let him
fall on his ass, by not providing any type of offensive threat. After
everything he gave to the Sabres, he deserved an opportunity to show the
world that on a real team he could win it all, easily. I'm not happy we
only got Kozlov in return, but I'm much more upset they didn't do
anything to improve the team while we still had Dom (as promised).

Had we received Federov in the trade, we still would've sucked, and
Detroit still would've won.

I don't think anybody would ever deny that he is and always will be one of
the best goaltenders to ever live, and I think everybody is well aware of
what he did for Buffalo and the opportunities they had to get the cup that
were never taken advantage of. The fact remains that he is arrogant and
egotistical and I wouldn't mind seeing him get knocked down a couple of
notches. There's something to be said for a bit of humility.

Bullshit ! I'm SICK of everyone knocking Buffalo. We will see how Mr
dictator does this year Although I won't watch him nor will I pay to see
him. I hope he falls flat on his ass and the wings don't make the
playoffs, then he will wish he stayed retired, then what will the wings
do if he decides to retire again and they get rid of Cujo.

Are you ready for some football !!!
GO BILLS !!!

I hope he falls flat on his face, I hate the person he has become and I
don't think it's fair to Joseph. Hasek if a friggen dictator and he
should stay in his own country.

Any goaltender can win with a great team, he had a great Sabres team in
front of him when we went to the finals with Dallas and he did shit, he
was the loser.

I wouldn't spend too much energy on that. Hasek or no, the Wings are certainly
going to make the playoffs.
