they DID have some taping at the beginning of the year, hence tainting
the ENTIRE season! if they can remain chaste from taping in the 2008
year, they can then go around without an asterisk behind it.
but ANYTHING done while Bill Bellicheat has been coach up to the 2008
season MUST have an asterisk, for the Patriots most verily were taping
since Bellicheat came aboard. Thanks to matt walsh, the truth came to
the attention of the world.
and, later, the NFL had to be hit by the threat of an obstruction of
justice charge by the US department of jusitice. seems that the NFL
front office tried to destroy all evidence of bellicheat taping other
games before the game with the jets.
yeah, NFL front office... we done and been on to you for years. and,
for some reason, you were protecting the "loaf of white bread"
Patriots - if for no other reason that they are a "loaf of white
bread" team. how's it feel to be stone cold busted, roger goodell,
just like your predecessor had been soooo many times, you white cracka?
Not to any rational person.
Or maybe you're a lawyer.

Say what?

They didn't "try". They did. So what? They acknowledged the evidence
existed.
People seem to think that taping another team's practice is a magic formula
for beating it. I kind of doubt that. There still has to be good football
acumen on the part of the coaches viewing the tapes, and their players still
have to execute well. And has anyone suggested that the players on the Pats
were in on the taping? I haven't heard of Brady or Bruschi being vilified as
cheats, even though they are far from dumb brutes.
They weren't even doing that. They were taping signals, which any
halfway intelligent opposing staff would be hiding or disguising anyway,
since it's NOT illegal to steal signals; it's only illegal to videotape
them.
And they were caught and stopped in the first quarter of the first game,
against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Anyone who thinks their 18-1
record is tainted by the videotaping incident is an idiot.
And I'm NOT a Patriots fan.

Hail to the Chiefs!
yes.... the US department of justice DID contact the NFL front office
about the destruction of the evidence. USDOJ does not like entities
to do that... it speaks to unfair play, favoritism, "brothers of the
loaf of white bread", etc. yes, the NFL was called down on the carpet
by USDOJ about it. despire what you THINK!

later in this thread it is aid they VIDEOTAPED the signals during a
game, and that IS illegal my friend....

Sooo... i am getting a bit bored with your lack of comprehension, but
stick with me for just a bit more. Why would the Pats want to
videotape signals from "one of the worst teams in the NFL". To better
their "stealth technology"? it musta been that, because it sure
couldn't have been that they feared "one of the worst teams in the
NFL", now could it.

oh.... you're a chiefs fan... that pretty well explains it....
oh..and your team LOST to that "one of the worst teams in the NFL" in
week 17 of the 2007 season. and your team has the NYJets scheduled in
the regular season again in the 2008!

well, even if the playas DIDN'T view the tapes, they DID benefit from
the "fruits" of the crime - that makes them accessories after the
fact... presuming they didn't know about it, which would have made
them accessories before the fact, which might also speak to the charge
of conspiracy as well.
sooooooooooooooo... why would USDOJ be worried about such things in
such a little thing as pro football? does the term "game fixing" come
to mind to anyone else here?
see ya bois, since i have schooled you to how it really went down, i'm
going to back on out of here now.
and they HAD to explain to USDOJ, or try to, as to why they DID
destroy the evidence. the only thing the NFL brass could do was act
all sheepish and shit, for it was game fixing, and unfair play... all
for one of their favorite little loaf of white bread teams.
i know you are limited in education, by having talked to you before
MZ... and that apparently your school experience didn't go down so
well, but even YOU should be able to understand by now bucky

they didn't tape after game 1. and btw, that randy moss, he's one heckuva
white cracka, no?
bob
I'm pretty sure you made up most of that, and regardless, it does not
support your point that there was ever a threat of an "obstruction of
justice charge".

I don't know, and neither do you.
No. Just to people who can't think clearly.
Oh, I understand alright. But do your doctors?

mindless, denial ridden, "patriotic*" dribble senselessly defending the

Bottom line.... they cheated. They got caught. Get over it. Denial will ruin
your life.
They got caught. They had been at it for a long time. Therefore.... its now
spelled Patriots* . Forever. So much for a dynasty.... its nothing but a
dirty shame. Good players have had their reputations soiled forever by their
association with the Patriots* and Bellicheat*. What a bunch of scumbags.
I'd rather watch the worst team compete fairly, that watch a bunch of
lowlife cheaters win over honest players who spent their lives and put their
blood sweat and tears into reaching the NFL. There are people who have
literally devoted their lives to the game, just so some scumbag thieves who
deserve nothing could beat them by cheating because they didn't have the
courage, the character, or the balls to play the game fairly.
Little kids who delighted in making the Patriots* their heros now have to be
told they had been caught cheating and deserve less honor than a street thug
selling crack. So much for their heros, their idols. And what are these kids
supposed to think of those adults who would want them to grow up honest, and
then defend this dishonest and contemptuous behavior? Please, someone tell
them that these adults are just wishful little children in disguise, who
need to be taught when its appropriate to be silent, and how to accept
reality.
Say whatever you want, but the Patriots* and Bellicheat* have proven
themselves to be pathetic, worthless trash. Its disgusting.
Patriots*, Barry Bonds*, its all meat from the same bone. Rank, rotten meat.
Throw it all out. Asterisk the records, my ass. Take their names out
completely if its going to be done fairly. Except for the list of
cheaters... leave them on there, where they belong.
Bonds* and Bellicheat* belong in the same cell together. If I were in
Boston, I would be ashamed to be a Patriots* fan.
