When you think of some of the worst owners in NFL history, the usual suspects tend to pile up: George Preston Marshall, Dan Snyder, Mike Brown, Bob Irsay, Art Modell, and a few others. In most cases, however, there tends to be a notoriously awful owner that tends to slip through the cracks: This man's name is Hugh Culverhouse, and he was the owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1976-1994. Throughout his control, the Bucs were consistently one of the worst teams in football, with only a blip of success due to things unrelated to his efforts.

Every move he made was for the sake of the bottom line, yet he took pride in his love of controlling both his football team and the league itself. He combined the worst aspects of sports ownership, and this description only scratches the surface of it. This video will show you the rest, in all of its horrific glory.

There are reasons why I consider him the worst owner in NFL history.
