6. Even with the need of another top-flight offensive player, the bulk
of this draft must be spent on defensive players, particularly on the
line and at cornerback. Detroit's first pick likely will be spent on a
guy such as Nebraska's Ndamukong Suh, Oklahoma's Gerald McCoy or
Georgia Tech's Derrick Morgan

This is like kids in December wondering what are they going to get for
Christmas. Right now there are tons of possibilities and it is
Christmas time all over again for would be GMs. Like putting them in
an old fashion candy store and giving them a quarter to spend.

I don't like McCoy anyway - not impressed.

Has anyone actually seen Suh play? Is he really the monster they say?

If so and we can't trade up to get him, if that move is necessary, I'd
be inclined to trade down a bit for an extra R2 or even a R3 pick.

I've been reading where the Bucs are planning some immediate changes
in the scouting department. The last HC, DL coach we had that picked
DL royally sucked, and that would be the combination of Dungy and
Marinelli. Granted they got more than expected from the stiffs they
drafted but they were stiffs nonetheless.

This draft is deep enough that there will be a decent DT available as
late as the 10 pick.

PS: Reminder - Sapp and Brooks were drafted by Sam Wyche.
