"You know what's not equal? Patrick Mahomes versus any other quarterback that you play against."

49ers could have won the SB handily, if not for "offensive genius"
Shanahan getting schooled by Spagnolo.

The 3rd and 4 before the 49ers kicked a FG to go up 19-16 towards the
end of regulation, Chiefs had 7 DBs, 2 LBs and 2 defensive linemen,
spread out wide.

They could have run it twice, no huddle after the first one to force KC
to defend the run twice with light personnel or call TO.

Instead 49ers ran a pass play against cover 0 defense which was set up
to stop the pass.

Maybe Shanahan doesn't let Purdy audible, or even just change his
protections.

But as the video shows, the last 2-3 quarters, Spags was out-scheming Kyle.

That is why Kyle has never won a SB and it seems unlikely he will. It's
not that he's dumb, just that he thinks he's so right, even when he's wrong.

So after the game he fires Wilks, who maybe didn't earn staying on but
he wasn't the main problem from a coaching standpoint in this game.
