A muddy field, rain, and wind have never helped the 49ers

Let us hope the 49ers can overcome the curse of local sports writers
such as Mark Purdy once again asserting that having a team with a
precision offense play on a muddy field with rain and wind is somehow
a "home-field advantage." No it really isn't, it just randomizes the
games, which is something a team that considers itself to have
superior talent and execution probably should not want.

Good point, it might slow down the Giants pass rush, it might make it
harder for 49ers to deliver their stunning hits. It might make a 49ers
defender fall down. Alex might let a slippery ball fall out of his
small hands.

Then he'd say, "Cheese 'n crackers got all muddy!"

Where are your stats to prove that the elements have worked for or
against the Niners? They don't have to overcome a damn thing, let
alone curses. They've "overcome" enough doubters to feel perfectly
comfortable winning in any weather condition.

It hasn't rained most of the last 2 months. The little rain that came
