Im feeling about as excited about the Bolts prospects next fall
as I am about the Padres this spring.

Even the Gulls aren't kickin ass. Is there a sports team in SD
worth a crap?

Sure there is the Chargers! You nor I have any idea what the free agent
market and the draft are going to produce right ? The only cut that I
don't care for was Harrison, me no likely that one. Conway I like but,
what the hell do I know.
Before you, I we start running around saying the sky is falling we need
to wait ok?

Conway was injury prone and we need to free up a roster spot. Butler will
surprise us again with a F.A. at this position. Rodney will haunt us.

conway had a surprisingly good season.... I thought so anyways... he was a
good target for Brees. I liked him, but we can probably improve and i'd
like to see boston, a healthy boston

I still say this is a boneheaded move.

The guy only missed 5 games in 3 years with us. He tried to play with a
broken shoulder too. Who say's he ain't tough. The guy has heart and plays
with intensity.

3.2 mill for a solid receiver is not much money in today's game. Wait till
you see how much jack Boston is going to get!

I think we will fail to get Boston and will end up with someone worse than
Conway (although maybe younger) and will end up paying them more too than
3.2 also.

He may have only missed 5 games but he was pretty much useless in about
12 others due to injury. He is NOT worth 3+ million a year. If he
gets anything more then 1.5 he should consider himself lucky. Teams
are not going to throw money at a 11 year vet who can't stay
healthy..and even when he is, he's still only a good (not great) WR.

Anyone remember when SD left A.Miller walk and all we had was
Martin,Seay and Jefferson on the roster?

Frow what I see, even with all the moves we really don't have a
lot of cash to go after a premier FA. We may add a decent
journeyman but I see the young receivers being expected to step
up.

Could the U-T be correct when Marty says he sees us having 10
rookies on the roster next year? How many undrafted FAs can you
really expect to find every year?

Word is that CC didn't want to leave Chargers, and that the Bolts wanted him to
stay. But he had to leave, far away from Cali, because he's getting divorced.
His ex-wife is taking all his money, so off he goes, to Buffalo...
