How do you run a weak offense against a blaugh, average defense such as the
Packs. Their secondary seems to be lackadaisical and if our rushing was a
factor we might be able to move the ball on the ground.(That is if Means
doesn't get demoted to the cheering squad, right ice?)
The Hawks and KC's D have a better rating than the Packs. (of course, the
Packs D rating might skyrocket after the game on Sunday) Or.......... The
Bolts might see their offense step up and play to their potential. (assuming
that they haven't already reached their potential)
This game is going to determine a few things;
If the Bolts are contenders for a play-off spot and
if the Packs should make plans to watch the Superbowl on the tube. (again)

Perhaps Erik's familiarity with GB from his days as a Bear & Lion
will be helpful

Well, I have faith in Joe (Pascal that is). With Harrison out and Lewis
starting, he'll make adjustments. It's not as if they're going to be
running the same defense as if Rodney was in there and ask Lewis to do
Rodney-like stuff.
Best, R.E.F.

ps - lewis? jackson is 2nd string strong safety. and after rodney went out,
i watched numerous plays where rodney would've "forced" the run inside, and
greg just got pancaked.

Yeah, he'll know the names of the guys intercepting his passes!
Iceberg
Back to your pre-season form I see. I was starting to worry.... ;0)

Didn't help him much when he was with the bears and lions.
Really ? I didn't see that, but I wasn't at the game.
Still, the net result was Sea's running game was stuffed, i.e.
neglible difference w/o Rodney. If one of the "stars" goes down,
this defense's mentality is such that everyone else will pick
their game up a notch (if that's possible!) to make up for it.
obvious we're not going to replace either rodney or seau. but then, sounds
like he won't be gone for long.

GB is a totally different team than then, and Kramer had little success
against the Packers when he was there and Favre was not here.
On one side you have a future Hall of Famer (if he stays healthy) and
potential rookie of the year in McKenzie. he is very good and will pick
Kramer at least once if he throws that way. On the other side you have
Tryone (I am the Michael Jordan of football) Williams who believes he is the
best in the NFL and is the only one. You can throw on him all day long if
you have a decent QB, which Kramer is just that decent (not great but
decent). So if you can get the run going, which has not been hard against
GB, and your QB throws long on Williams, you will get over 300 or maybe 400
yards of offense. But goal line D is strong in GB so you better score
before you get within the 10 or 15.
The real key is whether you can keep our O-line confused like Denver did.
If that happens it will be a long day. But I think the Packers are tough to
beat the week after a loss. GB 17, SD 14.
