Not that I am suddenly a fan of the Jags and/or the Tits but I was
thinking....all season long we heard people talk about the AFC Central as the
weakest division in football. Like wise we heard that the AFC East was the
toughest.

Well the AFC Central went 3 - 0 against the AFC East in the playoffs and
outscored them by 63 points.

It kind of makes me sick to see the Jags to so well but at least we can say we
gave them and the Tits a harder time than the 'Phins and the Colts did.

Yeah, not bad! Our division is doing OK> I`m not a Jag basher and think
they have a very good team. But I never thought Miami was anything but a
good defensive team with an atrociious offense: No running game (the same
problem they have had for a decade) and either a washed up Marino or an
unproven (but promising) Huard. The rest of the O is a disaster area. Aging
in all the wrong spots. the media loves Miami for some reason.they certainly
don`t warrant all the hoopla. Jacksonville just demolished them. A complete
humiliation of a pretty good D.
I predict St. Louis will take apart Jacksonville in the Super Bowl. They
have far too many weapons.

( Tennesee cant beat Jacksonville three times in a row.)

Please don't count the Jags game. Neither the Bills nor the Dolphins
should have been there. I'm gonna say that the Titans will hoist the
Lombardi this year. They're getting the breaks this year.

I'm there. There is something about the new uniforms. Denver gets new
unis, they finally get off the schnide and win a (2, even!) SB. The
Utah Jazz at least went to their Championship (dunno if they won). Now
the Elvises finally stop their 4 consecutive 8-8 years. Maybe we should
get newer unis to go with our new stadium, new logo too. Rooneys could
make a killing by making us all by new stuff. Sellout to Sun
Microsystems stadium and logo (the four S's). We have that reddish
orange and blue to incorporate into the unis as well. I vote we stay
away from the "Rollerball" nubers that the Elvises employ.

I have an idea for a new logo for the defense : The original US flag;
the one with the little snake :"Don't tread on me." Heck, the OL could
wear it too.

The only problem would be that "Don't Tread on Me" symbolized fierce
defiance. We would be using it in a pleading fashion! ;^)

Agreed Mike. I like the idea. Trash all the old, bring in the new. We could
name the park 'Iron City Stadium', get cheerleaders and a mascot. Think of
the marketing blitz!!!! That would raise a gazillion dollars for free
agents and other talented players who would flock to our bright, shiny new
stadium and practice facilities. We'd be in the super bowl in 2 years, and
WIN!!

Oh, wait a minute, we're talking Steeler's right?

Never mind.
