[Philly the Kid]

For those of you who would like to join the mailing list where real Eagles
talk occurs 24-7-365...then follow the instructions below.

This group is sometimes referred to as the Eagles Virtual Fan Club.

There is no fee, nobody sells anything. It is a hardcore group of Eagle
fans that span the world, many no longer living in the area, that provide
opinions, facts, stats, updates from the philly area papers etc...many
list members also support web sites dedicated to the team or Phila
sports...

The only rules are to keep it cool and layoff the personal attacks.

This list has been running for over 4 years. Its membership has peaked at
about 475-500...though it goes down a bit in the off-season...

There are a lot of great fans on the list, and a lot of knowledge. You can
get the list in regular mode or digest mode if you prefer less mail.

Many members meet and tailgate or get together to go to games or even
training camp. Help eahc other with tix etc. ...

T-shirts and swearshirts have been produced for fun from tiem to time. A
banner is usually created and often travels from city to city as there are
Eagle fans just about everywhere...for those away from Philly - you will
get more news and sooner than anything in the paper or on ESPN...

Sick of Dierdork, sick of the coronations for Favre, Elway and Rice
...c'mon over to the "list" and let off a little steam...

I encourage any fan who is serious about the Eagles, and sick of the
Usenet mentality and rival fans with stupid posts that bait you...to come
on over and hang out on the list for a week or two and see if you dig
it...I especially encourage old-timers who can remember our last
Championship in 1960 to come on over and lend some perspective!!

GO Eagles!! GET IT DONE!!
