Anybody going to Philly this weekend?

I'll be going with my nephew and brother in law, sitting in the lower
level end zone instead of cowering in the club as we originally
planned.

Philly fans have been coasting on their reputation of subhuman cretins
for far too long. There's nothing to be afraid of - I predict a half-
empty stadium and TONS of Redskins fans.

Besides I survived my last trip there unscathed - and that was at The
Vet, during a brutal playoff defeat for the Birds (Buddy Ryan's last
game, as the Skins whipped 'em 20-6 back in 1991).

Good tickets are going cheap - you can get lower levels for face ($109
all in) at Eagles ticketexchange, and print out your own tickets
instantly. Best deal going - market on Stubhub sucks right now with
artifically inflated prices to cover all of their ridiculous fees.

Hmm. I'll have to seriously consider that for next year.

So how was it? And how was the parking? I would be worried about my car
anywhere in Philly.

No, those of us in Philadelphia who didn't either realize or care how
badly "the chosen one" was hurt watched as he first limped around
while Mike Shanahan looked the other way, and then finished the job by
fumbling a snap and being physically unable to even make an attempt to
recover it.

All of this while an able bodied QB was available. Shades of Andy
Reid playing Nick Foles, knowing that Foles had just broken his
throwing hand.
