Where do you get this "3 Gray Cup Championships" bullshit? There's nothing
worse than basing an argument on incorrect/exaggerated/made up/fake
information. But you have proved repeatedly that such behavior is not
beneath you.
The facts are:
The Baltimore CFL entry played in the GREY CUP game in 94 (lost) and 95
(won). The following year they moved to Montreal and became the newest
rendition of Alouettes. They haven't won squat.
The PHILADELPHIA Stars of the USFL won the league championship in 84. Then
they moved to Baltimore and averaged 14,000 fans per game. (so much for
YOUR thing about sellouts). They won the championship in 85, then the
whole league disbanded.
PLEASE take your crap down the road. I was willing to give you a second

I was at the last Raiders @ Rams game in Anaheim JD. The Raiders fans
outnumbered the Rams fans 2 to 1. We already knew the Rams were moving
and when the Bitch Frontiere came out to the sidelines EVERYBODY let

I was there also. We took over their house that day including the crew of

your 2 to 1 fan ratio assessment.
I remember they cracked down hard on tailgating that day, we had a cop hassle
us for no reason whatsoever. We didn't even bring the BBQ that day AND we had
our beers in cups. Guess that was just the OC wuss component in high gear
giving anyone in S&B a hard time.
Wonder what the STL Rams attendance would be like if they started playing like
they did when they were the Orange County Rams? Would they out draw the
former St. Louis Football Cardinals? Hmmm.

I actually lived in St. Louis for a couple of years in the late 80's and know
that the city did support the Blues and baseball Cardinals, although few
games were ever sold out, and seats to either could be scalped for far below
face price.
But why did the football Cardinals move? I know the owner is a flake, but
they never sold out on a regular basis to my knowledge. Didn't St. Louis also
lose a pro basketball team?
All I was saying is that the Rams were an abysmal franchise for many, many
years in SoCal, and I don't think they filled half the seats over the last
several years of their existence here. I'm just wondering what would happen
given the same circumstances in STL.
But I think I already know the answer.....

A major fact you failed to include was the irony of the following...

Was that supposed to hurt my feelings? I'll have a rational discussion
with anyone who seeks one. Unfortunately just as it was last year,
someone attacked me and I responded and on the story goes. I could care
less but if you read back to my first posts of late, as ORR did on my
initial posting visit last year, you will find that my negative posts
began following attacks just as ORR found. He did not go to bat for me,
he simply saw the truth in that fact.

What was I supposedly reaching for? I saw a schedule of championship
"dynasties" and I merely posted the overall championship tradition of my
city. The original post did address two NFL teams, so I should have
refrained from the CFL and USFL title inclusions (one was in error
anyway). However, speaking in terms of franchises instead of cities
conveniently eliminates a sports city like mine from the discussion. I
chose to include it. We live in a democracy and this is my pc.

I could understand it if you were saying I had a superiority complex by

I find that funny coming from you. Your posts are so bi-polar. One minute

You come in here shouting and demanding respect ... you go into detail ...
outlining your cities rich championship history trying to validate yourself
... and you can't grasp the rationale ?? Look ... we're all individuals
here. Personally I give the Ravens their props. Statistically the best
defense in modern NFL history. Throughout the whole year they were the
"Immovable object" of the NFL. The RAIDERS had a chance to go BACK to the SB
if they could move the immovable. Fat Tony pulled a WWF move on Gannon ...
end of "Return to Glory"part IV. I think you've been the cause of the
negative responses you've gotten since you started posting here.
I've been in this group for many years. Here's how it works ... you dish out
sh*t ... you get it back ten fold ... You give respect ... you get respect.
Easy enough ???
> As for enjoying the fact that we are the SB Champs. I rejoice in that

You should. But you should also learn about grace. And you should realize
that your team is not going to just roll over everyone like they did last
season. When you are the champs everyone is gunning for you unlike last
season. Not that they don't have a good shot @ it .... but with a new QB
having to learn a new system and a tough schedule it will not be easy... and
above all else ... will they stay healthy ???

Look at my first posts and tell me where I was shouting and/or demanding
anything from any one of you in this NG. I initially sought out ORR and
Raiderjeff who were the most cordial and accepting to opposing fans
during my past posting visit here prior to and following the AFC
Championship game. I left this NG after that on good terms and I
returned with the same good intentions. Following a friendly <bfg>
response to Raiderjeff in response to my own post, Little John D just
had to start shit with a Ravens fan. Then came Natural Waste and even
yourself when you gave all Ravens fans in the NG a hearty "Screw You"
during your post of joy for the oncoming season. BTW: Check the time and
date of my negative response to your own. Again and as almost always, I
was merely responding in kind. As you said, "... you dish out sh*t ...
you get it back ten fold ... You give respect ... you get !

I wasn't trying to validate anything. Best to leave psychology to the
experts.
Look ... we're all individuals
> here.
That is what you preach but not what you practice. You would surely not
wish to be grouped in with a Raider fan asshole like JD. Yet all Ravens
fans are greeted with diatrabe directed at all of us because of what a
few or perhaps even many may have said previously here. So your
statement is contradictory to say the least.

I to have offered my props to this NG and you will find them via Deja if
you doubt my word.

I have in fact been the cause. Simply and only because I am a Ravens fan
in your Raiders NG.

I am an avid believer in "what comes around-goes around". That is why
you misinterpreted my responses as "bi-polar". I always give as good as
I get, ten times as good. Deja will prove me correct on that issue also.

You have no ground to stand on and preach to me about graciousness.

I realize that fact. You are assuming ALL Ravens fans feel that way. I
don't know of any serious Ravens NFL football fan. Your mistake, not
mine.

Very valid points for which I agree. One ace in the hole is that while
teams will obviously be concentrating on our defense, they will have
little if any knowledge about the abilities of our offense. Shit, even
Ravens fans won't know that until persuasion and beyond.
DBinMD
Another misconception. Now who is reaching for rationalization? I as a
person and/or a Ravens fan do not need or seek respect for myself or my
team from opposing NFL fans. My team has earned it's respect among the
NFL teams they have played on the field. What you or I as fans feel
about the teams and their players is a non issue. If anything, I would
like my team to gain more media recognition based on the team itself and
not one individual player or the head coach.
DBinMD

The only reason that you are "un-PLONKED",
is that I have a new system that I am operating.
Don't worry, given time, you will once again irritate me
to the point of adding you to the list of shame, along
with all of the other unimportant pieces of shit who
troll here during the season.
Until then, I will continue to read your schizo post, and
your myopic dissertations on all things Raven. I'll give
you credit. You, if indeed you are not the dude with
crabs, are not quite as inept, as the same dude with
crabs, at following an argument (the logic and reasoning
behind argument), but only to a certain point. Then
your homerism shows through, and so do the rest of your
personalities.

The Ravens didn't just roll over everybody last year. They turned a
corner about half way through when Dilfer became the starter. No QB
has lasted a full season for Billick yet. Banks got to the point
where he just couldn't perform any longer. I had predicted that
Dilfer would start by game 5 but missed it by a few.
AFTER Dilfer lost his first game THEN they rolled over everybody.

We do not have a new QB who is trying to learn a new system. Grbac
knows the system already What he has to learn is that we have
different names for the plays. He was calling some KC numbers in camp
but still completed over 71% with great accuracy. Keep in mind he's
doing that against the toughest defense in the NFL which is NOT
rushing him, so the game results will be different.
Every winning team the Ravens beat in the Superbowl run claims they
were as good s the Ravens were after watching the Ravens on film.
EVERY one of them claimed they would be able to run the ball.. NONE
could.
No team that has a "running back by committee" approach has ever gone
very far with it. The Ravens had planned to use Priest Holmes as
their top runner during the playoffs, but Lewis proved to be too
strong.
After the season 14 Ravens had surgery. Let's dispell that other
theory that the Ravens suffered no injuries.

They aren't hiding behind anything Crabman. They have much to be proud

You claimed to have PLONKED me twice to date yet you still respond to my
posts. Why is that? Obviously you are the one who has an eye for me. As
I told you in another post, I love women and although you are the second
largest pussy in this NG, that just won't qualify you as a woman in my
book. Sorry, but feel free to continue playing with yourself as you
respond to my posts. Lonely as you are, I realize you gotta do what you

> I've noticed DB and Crabman never really get into a heated argument

You obviously haven't searched my nick "DB" in the Browns NG to realize
that I have in fact had many heated discussions with Crabman. So you are
yet again talking out your ass Sac-less.
And you really should not be so pretentious as to speak for the entire
NG (ie:"us"), as I haven't had arguments with every member. Those that I
have had a favorable dialogue with in the past as well as others that
just don't participate in these pissing matches have wisely and
understandably chosen to remain silent.

Simple, they honor us by their presence. They had never been there
before. We went from ignored to being targeted. Prior to the AFC
Championship we suddenly were invaded by a mass of Raiders fans
telling us how they were going to run all over us with their No. 1
Rated running game. They hadn't been there the previous 5 years.
We were of course well prepared by the perpetual Cleveland trolling.

We all share a common interest. Let's not forget that the printed

With the vast majority of league observers noting that the Ravens are
the best defense in the NLF in 2000 only a handful are claiming the
Titans were and solely on the basis of yards allowed.
We are getting to far afield in paying attention to stats at times
when those stats do not accurately provide insight. The best yards
figure was on the side of the Titans by .8 of a yard (a virtual tie).
But the points allowed were in favor of the Ravens by over 10%
No contest. The Titans were good, but not the best by a long shot.
Their current positioning at 5th in power polls may prove to be too
high this year.
The Titans are a very good team. They just aren't that close to being
equal to the Ravens on defense.
In each division there are usually two teams that have difficulties
with each other. The Ravens until this year could not beat
Jacksonville. But they have consistently split with the Titans.
I'm not going to go into the game lost by officiating at this moment.
But it seems to me the Titans and Ravens have improved largely due to
Jaguar decline.
What part of RCN are you located in? Philly?
