I don't know that I believe in our defense yet (the Bills and "Bad
Favre" aren't the best litmus tests), but we're 2-0 and haven't played
a home game. Am hoping crowd noise will be an issue for Sanchez.
Wouldn't be shocked to see LT have an impressive outing, and if your
boy Shonn can hold onto the ball, he can be a load to bring down.
Hoping the inevitable Braylon meltdown has begun.
If Miami wins this game we're half way to my preseason 6-10
prediction. Plus, we'll be 1-0 against the next Super Bowl
champions! ;-)

This is the year that we should reverse the good deed the Fish did to us
last year. We should sweep both games. I will be disappointed if the
games are squeakers.

Why wouldn't they be able to? Last year it was one of the most
dominating offensive lines in football. Pouha and Devito aren't scaring
anybody. I'd focus on running the ball. Don't want to play into Rex's
hands by getting into 3rd and longs.

We've not been able to score for so long I'm just used to it. But our
OL is better, our WR's are way better, and perhaps Robo-Henne is
better enough than the team that moved the ball through the heart of
the Jets D in the final drive the last time we played MNF, and the
Jets are without Fatboy, their best LB, and Revis. I couldn't not
pick Miami and myself in the mirror.
Harlan makes a good point- the winner of this game will feel pretty
good about themselves, especially given Faulk is done in NE.

Last year they had the lowest 3rd down conversion percentage in football.

and 31 points in the first game, so it can be done.

Figure this one out....the wildcat can move the ball, move the chains and it
takes up time on the ground. It keeps the Jets D on the field and the Jets
O off the field. It wears the Jets D down in a hot situation. The Jets O
does not appear to get into synch easily or into a rhythem, that means they
should be on the field a lot to develop that timing. With a tired D the
Fins score, it's a low scoring game and that is what I think the "experts"
think. The current version of the 46 is designed to attack a drop back
passing O and a quick off the ball waste no time running attack is not what
it is best for. So, they change up on the D too, which takes the Jets D out
of their rhythm....I hope this doesn't happen, but I think it is what the
"experts" are thinking.

Very accurate assessment....run the plays quickly, get off the ball quickly,
"race horse" it and keep it on the ground moving the chains when they have
the ball...that's my guess. I hope Rex is ready for that.

on one line match-up's and i think that will be key. if the fish can
