This one hangs on an awful awful innacurate over throwing Mark Sanchez.
Sure there were a couple drops but thet fact is that the game could have
been put away many times

Agreed but still, those overthrown passes (at least 6 by my count) were
brutal. Many opportunities and points given away.

You are right, Sanchez looked horrific too often. OTOH, he won us the

A good coach puts his players in positions to succeed. The brutal 3rd
down bomb when a 6 yard slant might have wrapped up the game given the
time out calls by Caldwell. The wide runs to Shonn, not getting the line
up to kill on the run, and not using Shonn enough hurt.
It is interesting to note that the same guy who looked awful on a lot of
throws won the game with essential 3rd down completions on the TD drives
and the last FG drive and made some amazing tosses (literally) to LT.

He is a 2 nd year QB who played 14 college games. He played like sh$$
most of the game but came through.
Having said that his #s are = to Elway and Aikman in years 1 and 2 and
he looks good at times.

They WAY he was throwing is indicative of someone who is not comfortable
with how his shoulder feels...he was taking HUGE strides into his throws
too...like he was compensating for a weakness was what I thought. A long
time ago I got really interested in the mechanics of QB's...when you see
them do some stuff it shouild tell you things you can work against....I
think Collingsworth even said something about it...if you can watch any
replays...he looked like he was trying to really step into some of those
throws...then he got relaxed, not thinking and he threw a rocket and on
target....he thinks too much....that says to me he needs a QB coach /
therapist :-) I knew a kid like that....he was fine as long as one coach
was the only one who dealt with him and that guy was like the major father
figure and never aggressive or negative..or even overpowering. A huge part
of coaching is figuring out which guys you have to kick in the ass, and
which ones need a pat on the back...because both actions can get the same
results.

And his teamates seem to really like him and respect him...that is a big
