Revis. We never needed the 2d best CB in the NFL to go along with him
at the expense of almost everything else that was needed. How many
teams have a pair of WRs good enough to make it a wise decision to pay
the top 2 DBs in the NFL when there are glaring other needs to take
care of? There was very little logic to it from the first place other
than Tanny and Rex putting a notch on their "players want to come to
the Jets because of us" belt. The Jets FO is so full of itself, it
thinks it can do no wrong. I hope our 2011 season doesn't pay the
price for this foolhardy venture.
Rex and Tanny: Now go get Cro and Braylon (or his equivalent) and
accept the fact that now you will have to pay more as a consequence of
your crash and burn result in the Nnamdi quest, which never made any
sense in the first place.

Rex Ryan will lose 100 pounds before his bloated ego does. Jets fans have
just experienced one of the major pitfalls we discovered about Rex Ryan in
B'more and why he was never considered a serious candidate for our HC
position but granted an interview simply out of respect. The good news is
that no NFL HC is perfect. The bad news is that Rex still believes he is.

I'm sorry dude but NFL fans, at least this one, beyond the borders of Jets
fandom do not consider a 7-7 record enhanced to a 9-7 record and a free pass
into the playoffs to reflect 2 legitimate - earned playoff appearences. In
fact without the failure to appear victories Rex misses the playoffs, has
the same record as his predecessor and fans here are contemplating going
back to being Giants fans for at least one more season. OK... just kiddin
with that one. The point being Rex is arrogant which if you like that sort
of thing is cool. His arrogance has already projected his predictions of two
SB appearances which did obviously did not transpire. He went from "...this
team will go to the SB, ...to..., ..."this team will likely go to a SB,
...to..., ..."---> prediction 2011 insert here <---".

My post was not about Rex's coaching. Obviously he has been succesful
and anyopne in their right mind would take him over most other NFL
HCs. It was about his and Tanny's ill conceived quest for Nnamdi.
Unfortunately the Ravens moron troll had to add his 2 cents which
wasn't even worth that much.
Glad they got Plax. Based on Braylon's entourage's latest brush with
the law, I now understand why he became persona non grata, so I
applaud Rex and Tanny for letting him go. Just wonder how much
cheaper than $8 million per season they would have had Cro were it not
for the unnecessary Nnamdi quest. Joseph got about $9M I think, so I
guess Cro would have been around $7 to $7.5.

Dude... the reason the Jets failed to advance is because the Colts team they
played in the playoffs didn't take a dive. That is fact ...not spin.
Do continue watching and cheering your team on. Certainly nothing I say will
change that nor was it designed to deny you that enjoyment.
I agree with you about the arrogance noted in the posters Subject thread,
however, it was the Subject and I merely responded. Losen a collar button.
