The Jets pass rush is *predicated* on making the opposition throw it
before they want to. It's not so much sacks and hits on the QB, it's
forcing him to throw it before wishes.
Think about playing football with your friends, or for that matter
some other sports. When you have time to deliver the ball/puck you
generally make a better throw/pass/whatever. Conversely when you have
angry animal opponents bearing down on you you're forced out of your
comfort zone. And that lessens your chance at success.
I ain't saying the Jets pass rush is where I want it to be. But a
Rexosarus defense is much more than sacks and hits on the QB. Even a
split second makes a huge difference.
This is a really good point. The other thing about it is that a lot of
times the pass rush is "in your face". Either up the gut or between the
tackle and guard, etc. IOW, the QB sees it coming. Other more
traditional forms of the pass rush usually rely on edge rushers either
getting to the QB in his blind spot, or forcing him to step up into the
pocket and being taken out by the interior guy. Therefore, the more
overt pass rush, like the Jets employ, shouldn't yield as many sacks but
instead will get the QB to throw the ball quickly or freak out.
Your current man crush on Rex is dully noted. Please don't be so repetitive
in singing Rex's praise as the honeymoon is just about over. When the lack
of discipline on a Rex Ryan Jets team costs you a playoff appearance or a
playoff game even with pro-bowl caliber talent you will know what I mean.
Jets fans failed to notice but they did experience both last season thanks
to the Bengirls and Dolts taking personal days off for playoff makeovers and
a visit to the spa.

Holy cr&p - didn't your lame ass team bend over and give it up to the
Moss-less Patriots, and get taken to OT by the winless Bills? At
home? And barely beat out the Jets by 1 lousy point, where we had the
worst case of brain-cramp on offense EVER, lost Jenkins in the first
quarter AND had BS penalties give you the only TD of the game? (and
don't cry foul on the "penalty BS", since your hero Ray Lewis whined
about the very same thing the following week when our ex FG kicker
Nugent beat your lame overrated team with 5 field goals for the
Bungals).
And yet, here you come complaining about Rex Ryan? What's the matter
- still sick at heart that your team picked up Harbaugh to be your HC
instead of Ryan?
For a franchise that has had to endure the likes of Rich Kotite, Bruce
Coslett, Herm Edwards, and so on, I can safely say that I have never
been HAPPIER with the HC of the Jets - even when we had Parcells and
the '98 team, because we all KNEW he was a total Mercenary and would
be gone in a few years.
Go crawl back under your rock and pray your team can even win it's own
division (still have to face the Bengals AND the Steelers with Ben R.
back at QB - good luck with those).
If dominating the game for all but 6 minutes equates to the team bending
over I have to say no. Rephase to the OC and DC gpoing into prevent for 6
minutes of the remainder of the 4th quarter then yes they did, however, not
until beating the sorry asses of your overrated loud mouths, ..."on your
opening day", ..."in your house" and ..."after all the false bravado" which
is the Jest and it's head jester, Rex cRyan.
A win by 1 point or 30 points is a win bozo. I simply find it amusing that
the Jest were held scoreless in their loss to the Packers walking wounded
today. So in actuality it is you Oldfart that displays a lot of nerve here.
I'm amused just by watching your reaction to my striking every single nerve
with my post.
> ...and get taken to OT by the winless Bills? At

Did you catch the highlites of the 5-1 KC Chiefs vs. winnless Bills today
Oldfart? You would be correct to say that there were not many as the Bills
also took KC into OT and just missed beating yet another PO contender 13-10.
Remember... "On any given Sunday" ...jerk.
> And barely beat out the Jets by 1 lousy point,
A WIN <--- is a ---> WIN. I'm sure you would refuse the "W" for only winning
by 1 lousy point ...right Oldhypocritefart?
> where we had the worst case of brain-cramp on offense EVER,
I'm sure those were menstral pains brought about by all the pre and post
game chick bitching by your coach and players, as very well demonstrated by
you here.
> ...lost Jenkins in the first quarter AND had BS penalties give you the

Penalties were always the end result of an undisciplined Rex Ryan defense in
B'more. Watching the Ravens - Jet game I could have sworn the Ravens under
Ryan were in gang-green. You will learn this all soon enough as well as how
Rex attempts to defer blame unto others for his failings. I understand he
tried to blame the punter for the blown fake punt at the Jet 1o yard line.
That was our Rex and we are glad his fat ass was not hired here.

That is funny that you claim your ex beat us where your team could not. Come
back when you have more "original" excuses to offer.
> And yet, here you come complaining about Rex Ryan? What's the matter -

Sure dufus, I'd rather be lucky and back into the PO's than be good enough
to earn the right to play in them. I always think fondly of Rex and
regardless of the games he lost for us, I want him back. Where as if this
fucker Harbaugh takes us to one more lame assed PO appearance I'm going to
turn in my PSL's.

If Ben didn't have two steelers fans refereeing the game against Miami he
would be 0-2 since his date rape suspension was up. The Ravens have beaten
all but one PO team from last season to date, though they demolished that
team in the PO's when it really mattered, while the Steelers have not beaten
a single solitary one that I am aware of. In fact... have the Jest beaten
any PO contenders from 2009, ...but that is neither here nor there.
So why don't YOU crawl back in your virtual time machine and think of the
good old Broadway Joe days Oldfart, because for now that is all you actually
have to boast about respective to the history of B'more - NYJ football.
Tell Rex ravens fans enjoyed his fake punt attempt. Can't wait to see it on
NFL Bloopers.
A win by 1 point or 30 points is a win bozo.
That is very wise and I bet you wish you could have thought of it instead of
cut and pasting it. With that in mind welcome to 5-2 posers. Do you have any
teams to play that were PO contenders last season or are they all crippled
with injuries like the Packers?
Nah, I don't have a horse in this race. I was just pointing out your
obvious hypocrisy. Have a good night.
Oh I see mark, on your way to the bathroom to change your soiled panty
shield you decided to stop off at the PC to enlighten the ng with your
personal insight about me. And believe me, if your head wasn't up your ass
to the shoulder blades 99.7 percent of the time that you do post ... you
would have a perfectly legitimate point without the need to demonstrate your
own hypocrisy.
Beat ya later, ...have a nice day ! (:-)
