game set and match for me as far as schott is concerned
Not all on offense but when we did get the chance...suspect
playcalling...
At least the guys on SNY agreed.... what can be done to be loud about
getting a real OC?
Welcome to the Dark Side, Tut.
Severl years ago, some folks in this group got together a very sane
but logical call for Herm's head. Somehow, Woody heard it and he
subsequently greased the skids for Herm's escape to KC. Can it be
done again?
Can't communicate...can't call a timely play...he can't think ahead...it is
always his quick decision...a good OC is always two to three plays ahead
based on various outcomes....Rex has got to go to Woody and tell him he
needs a real OC.
The play calling at the goal line was puzzling. I just read about
both radios going out which explains the confusion.
All year LT is their choice near the goal line. Maybe because he is
the best at diving over the line or maybe the like him but for some
reason he is their choice near the goal line.
i think they may be worried about green putting the ball on the ground
The team sharing the stadium has an OC with Super Bowl experience. He
wouldn't even have to move.
It would be tough to let him go but anything to help our AFC brothers. ; )
Seriously though, I have seen just about the same scenarioplayed out with
Gilbride in 1st and goal situations.
why use the word "puzzling" it was not "puzzling" it was more of the
same monumental incompetence that we have seen time and time again
from schotty. once again, he pulled a play out of his ass
irrespective of circumstances.
> And Rex said he's bringing him back.
> It may be time to re-evaluate Rex.
At this point, complaining about Shott is unfair.
The man is not not competent to prepare an offense and consistently call
a winning set of plays. What is he supposed to do? Say please fire me.
Give me a break.
Shott works for Rex. Rex is the HC. If Rex says play LT at the goal line
or not, Rex is the one who can insist that Shott not go away from what
ain't broke.
Rex has been getting a pass from most fans. Hell, it has been great to
see a competitive Jets team that player supposedly want to play for.
OTOH, Rex is the HC. The buck stops with him and this one is up his butt.

I would say there is a problem with the HC who is bringing this guy back.
