The killer of 33 students at VT had the computer name of "Ismail Ax".

CNN and the other Liberal media will not report this (instead they
will say the mass murderer was "troubled")

The facts of the meaning of Ismail Ax:

By Allah, he said, I shall plot a plan to destroy their idols. He knew
that a big celebration was coming soon, where everybody would leave
town for a big feast on the riverbank. After making sure that nobody
was left in town, Ismael went towards the temple armed with an ax.

She offered Hajar her servant as a wife to her husband, and prayed
Allah to bless Hajar and Ibrahim with a child. And so came Ismail, a
baby boy born to Hajar.

Newspaper report: Shooter left a note
Posted by The Oregonian April 17, 2007 09:02AM
Categories: Virginia Tech shootings

The suspected gunman in the Virginia Tech shooting rampage, Cho Seung-
Hui, was a troubled 23-year-old senior from South Korea who
investigators believe left an invective-filled note in his dorm room,
sources told The Chicago Tribune.

The note included a rambling list of grievances, according to sources.
They said Cho also died with the words "Ismail Ax" in red ink on the
inside of one of his arms.

Sources told the Tribune that the words "ISMAIL AX" were also found
written in red ink on the inside of one of Cho's arms.

The reference may be to the Islamic account of the Biblical sacrifice
of Abraham, where God commands the patriarch to sacrifice his own son.
Abraham begins to comply, but God intervenes at the last moment to
save the boy.

In the Jewish and Christian traditions, the son is Isaac, father of
the Jewish people; in Islam, it is his brother, Ismail (Ishmael in
Hebrew).

Abraham uses a knife in most versions of the story, but some accounts
have him wielding an ax.

A more obscure reference may be to a passage in the Koran referring to
Abraham's destruction of pagan idols; in some accounts, he uses an ax
to do so.

No he wasn't. He was 23 years old from South Korea, came to
the US of A at the age of 8. His parents lived nearby,
his sister goes to princeton.

Apparently Faux News tried to tie it to Islam, some others
contend that it was his XBox live player name.

So Asians can't be muslims, or extremists ...

Some people's elevators don't go to the top floor... You didn't even get
a stepstool.

Even IF it was an XBox player name why did he choose it??

Also it was written n red ink which in the Asian culture is considered
bad luck.

Ismail Ax is his Xbox 360 game name. May have aboslutely no meaning
beyond the game.

Did he choose it?
Mabye it's one of these games where you have to use the names
already programmed into the game?

Not every game lets you create a name. Some only give you
a choice of a few select names.

Maybe that was a signal to other players in this xbox live game that
Ismail Axe was dead?

Just heard on TV some footages Cho sent to NBC. Cho said he "wanted to
die like Jesus". Does that sound like a Christian or Muslin?

Also, Cho is probably a Christian as most Korean immigrant population
in US are Christians.

AND he had it written in red, which in Korea a name in red is a high insult!

(vs. a low one maybe)? :) :)

Well, obviously you ain't too bright (understatement of the year?)
why was his Xbox name Ismail Ax:? Why did he choose a muslim name
as his Xbox game, when he could have chosen a stupid name such as
Barnabas Collins or Lord Turkey or a million others with no muslim
conection.
There are other religious conections in his notes such as to Jesus on the
cross etc
who is a mulsim prophet.

Who's that? Never mind, you can check out Cho's Jesus Christ
inspiration statement for yourself:

http://news.google.com/news?q=Cho+die+Jesus+Christ+inspire

If one must make an issue of the shooter's religious background, it
is
likely Cho is Christian.

BTW, "Ismail Ax" was his Counter-Strike video game handle.

Let me guess....you've never played a game where you had no choice in
the character name?
