Funny ESPN talked of his passing w/o a single mention of Daryl
Stingley. As a NE fan that's the single niggest Tatum legacy I will
remember and find it odd that ESPN seemed to forget/pass it over.

Translation: anyone old enough to remember Tatum and Stingley was
on vacation.

So the news item was written and reported by people not
old enough to know who Daryl Stingley is.

No player should have his life defined by one play.

Except for that fucktard Kermit Washington.

Tatum was a dirty player who made a dirty hit.
good he's dead, and good he was ill that last few years, the scumbag
deserved it.

Kermit Washington was right to smak Rudy, Rudy was charging him from behind,
never smart to do in a fight.
the season before in a similar situation Kermit ignore an enemy player who
was rushing up behind him like Rudy was and he got blasted.

Lee Harvey Oswald had every right to kill Kennedy because Kennedy was
infringing on his right to be a Communist.

When the one play pointedly summarizes your entire career it should at
least be a footnote. It would be different if it was completely out of
character like Roberto Alomar...Juan Marichal but the Stingley hit WAS
exactly what Tatum was his whole career, just the worst example of it.
