is it just me, or was the ball NOT over the goal line when Saturday was
credited with that touchdown?? Patriots should be in the Super Bowl

Didn't have to be over. Just had to touch it...you know, break the plane as
they always say. There were several things in the game you could point to
as well. Always are. Usually from both perspectives. It's foolish to
grasp at excuses like that anyway. We lost. Get over it already.

I agree. Shit happens in a football game. The players are human, the refs
are human, the ball is oblong. Sometimes it seems you get bad breaks. A good
team will overcome those bad breaks. The last two years in the playoffs, the
Patriots weren't good enough to overcome the bad breaks. Clearly, the Colts
were, as they erased an 18-point deficit.

Then again, the Colts weren't good enough to prevent the Patriots from
building the 18-point lead in the first place. I'd say those were two
pretty evenly matched teams - the Pats (the defense, in particular)
just ran out of gas. Of course, if the offense had managed to get a
first down on its second-to-last possession (the one prior to the
Colts' last touchdown), they probably could have run out the clock.
They came up a couple of yards short.

Usually I get really annoyed when the Patriots lose - especially last
year's playoff loss to Denver, when they clearly outplayed the Broncos
and kept shooting themselves in the foot. This time, they acquitted
themselves very well.

Yeah, if anything, LAST YEAR the Patriots choked. They were playing a team
that seems to have their number and failed to perform up to their
expectations. THIS YEAR, they fought a tough battle and fell to a better
team.

Well to be fair, they fell to a healthier team. Patriots are still better
overall IMO. The Patriots will be back again next year...

Doesnt matter.....Brady and your wimpy D choked away an 18-pt. lead on a
national stage. Peyton owned you guys this year, and you're just gonna have to
live with that shame for a long time.

More bad news for Patsy Nation.......the mighty Steelers just hired a young &
hungry head coach and we'll be making you AND the Colts our bitches for many
seasons to come........STAY TUNED!

LOL.....living in a delusional world must be fun! Peyton owned you guys this
year.....not once, but twice.

At best, you were slightly above mediocre this season. Better luck next time,
bub.

What does that make the Colts who barely beat this mediocre team?

You too. The way the Ravens spanked your boys with all your old
coaches and players in place, it's frightening to think about how
they're going to pawn their butts next year! Even Cowher wanted no
part of it.
