DEN at IND
TEN at BAL

So, If Denver beats Indy next week, Pats play the Broncs, if they lose,
Pats play Tenn-Balt winner. I really don't know who to root for.
With regard to DEN or IND - I think Manning is more dangerous than Plummer.
With regard to TEN or BAL - TEN has 37 year old O'Donnell now and BAL sucks.
I prefer for IND to win, so we play TEN or BAL. IND can beat KC, IMHO.
Agreed. I'd rather go up against Baltimore in the first game, but I think
Tennessee will beat them, and Indy will handle Denver the second time around.

Also, I don't see McNair sitting out next week's game even if he has to play
on crutches.
Agreed: Ravens suck.

Ravens look like us in 2001 except 1) they run better 2) there not good on
the road. I think the Ravens beat Tennessee.
I agree with BobV, Denver is the one team I'm really nervous about. Manning
will not be as effective up here.Getting by Denver will be difficult for
Indy.

OJ Simpson could not run on the 2003 Patriots D in Foxboro. We have stopped
the best runners in the NFL already. Stopped them cold.
Denver rested a bunch of starter. I think it's bullshit since the game still
had playoff implications. Green Bay has to than Mike-I need facial
reconstruction surgery-Shanahan for getting them into the playoffs.

I don't know. OJ is a slasher. He could do some damage.
Didnt da Bills have a really good Defense???
And a good running back... ??
Slasher... ha ha ha I got it.. lol
thats a great one...
slasher.. wow.. hehe
Didnt the pats beat most the teams they might face in the playoffs?
Dont give me that, they werent what they are now crap either...
No team has had the injuries and the tough schedule that the pats have .
Yet I still see more Mcnair articles on Nfl.com than anything else,
maybe Rush was right...

They are too one dimensional. They will get killed in the playoffs.
Look at who they beat and who they lost to. The only good team
they beat was Denver, and it was a home game and Kanell was
Denver's QB.

Let 'em put together an all-star team. No friggin way the Pats lose
their playoff opener at home.
Their defense allowed more points than ours, and we consistently hold
the best runners to under 100. Making the Ravens go one dimensional
is killer because of their QB situation, which would be lunch for the
Pats. You think Chad Pennington got confused and forced into bad
throws? Wait until, and if, we get the Ravens in Foxboro.
Agreed although I feel The Patriots can handle them. If we can slow
down Lewis we can mess with their QB. And suddenly our offense is
starting to gell.
My concern with Baltimore is that their defense likes to punish you.
Not that the Patriots can't handle it but I'd rather play the finesse
teams! 8-)
We just have to hide the blonde cheerleaders.
I think the game is ours to lose, no matter who we play. I hope that Romeo
talking to the Gaints is not a distraction.
The Pats were 7-0 against teams that were above .500, including
the 12-4 Colts and 12-4 Philly. Who did Baltimore beat? One good
team, Denver, and that was only because it was a home game
and Kanell played.
J.
>sorry! Baltimore does not suck! great defense and great runner; a dangerous
>sleeper in the playoffs.
The Ravens barely beat the Steelers at home with Jamal Lewis gunning
for the rushing record. Yeah, their D is flat out nasty, but their
offense is all Lewis, and look at the Pats' numbers against the run
this season.

Because in the past, there were coordinators who were losing out on
job opportunities because they were in the playoffs and untouchable.
Logic dictates that the better coordinators (hence the better head
coach candidates) would be in the playoffs.

I have confidence that the team will find ways to score points. Yeah,
Brady will be under a lot of pressure...the Ravens' D pretty much had
its' way with the Steelers O-line last night. But you have to think
that the Patriots' D will make a big play which turns into points in a
game like that.
