Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground.

I don't and here's why. As far as I have heard, we are going to
trade Drew. He will be highly sought after. The only thing his
doing well in a game would accomplish would be more fodder for
the Brady/Bledsoe argument. It wouldn't make him a _more_ sought
after QB. His record will speak for itself.
So, unless we might still not trade him, there seems to be no
upside to Drew coming in. We can only hurt his trade value if he
were to perform worse than Brady. No matter how he does, the
_only_ two occurencse that can come of it are:
1) His value as a franchise QB stays _intact_ because he
performs great/well/status quo
2) His value is diminished because he performs poorly and
someone might start to doubt his future skills.
Sure, the rest of the Pats world might get their curiosity roused
and maybe satisfied, but that ain't going to help the Pats play
better, while a better draft pick could.
Now, if BB thinks he is the QB to lead us into the playoffs, then
this argument is moot.

Do you have any phone numbers of the GMs? I'll call. I would be VERY
interested to hear what they'd say.

I've asked this before: exactly what is a "franchise" QB? Apparently it means
nothing except that the QB is very good. How good? I guess good enough that the
team wants to keep him around for a number of years - unless he fails to
deliver or the team doesn't want him around anymore, in which case he isn't
actually a franchise QB.
The term is merely a useless distraction.

Then they don't know what they're talking about. Most teams SPEAK with other
teams, at least ... about trading their starting QB .. in fact the only good
QBs that were anticipated to be starters from college the last few years.. well
none besides Peyton Manning. No one seems happy with their QBs, because there
isnt much talented ones in the league anymore.

Of course, if I had said the Sporting News said Bledsoe was the greatest QB
ever, then you would think that it was a great publication.
Richard>>
No...then we would call ANdrew an idiot because everyone knows that the
Sporting News only does baseball well. Football is an after thought to them
and their coverage has always been poor. We might mock TSN by saying things
like...Hey even TSN understands how great Bledsoe is why can't we get Richard
to understand.

When they are an idiot...hurting their feelings is not something I am so
concerned about. getting them to wake up out of the idiotcy and realize how
stupid they are being is.

Bwahahahaha...good one. Waste perfectly good blunt honesty used to shock
people into their senses because i am worried about their "feelings"...ooh yeah
that's gonna happen.

Again Kent, ignore this moron. Despite his PH D in nuclear brain surgery
rocket science he's obviously a buffoon. (You know once you get started on
this insulting stuff it's hard to stop! ;-))
