Give your moms and dads your love if you can. I lost my hero Friday night
and I miss him terribly.

RIP Papa Joe.

gb: Sorry about your loss. Sounds like your dads son was a pretty good
guy too.
God be with you and cherish the memories. Papa Joe would want that.

My condolences. I know your pain. You'll miss him like crazy and it hurts like hell but it gets a little better every day.

You'll never fully get over his passing but it will get better.

Hey Stoobz... sad to read of your dad's passing. The sentiment you
express is the instant reaction I had when I lost my parents at
different times. You immediately realize that you haven't taken
advantage of the endless opportunities you have had to tell your parents
how you feel about them - then it's suddenly too late.

Thanks for the comforting thoughts everyone. We were lucky enough to spend a
small bit of lucid time together for part of his last few days. He even
asked for a beer, a cigarette and wanted to know if smoking pot would kill
him now, lol. So he was a funny guy till the end )

That's good, bro. There is nothing the guy would have wanted more
than his son by his side at the end.

Best,

I'm sorry for your loss, Stoobz. A hero is a hard thing to lose.
I lost my brother 20 yrs ago...so we all try to say I love you after every
conversation-cause you never know when you are saying good bye forever. And
never get to say it again.
