I think this game eases some of the pain of the two losses to the
Eagles last year. Philadelphia is now clearly the better team. I
don't like the Eagles, but I have to admire the way they've gone out
and added some impact players to make a run for the Super Bowl this
year. Too bad the Packers haven't been able to do the same.

Anyway, hopefully the Packers will get a chance to try to avenge the
loss in the playoffs. If this team is going to get anywhere they're
going to have to get past the Eagles. Sort of like the challenge with
the Cowboys back in the 90s. Well, actually the Cowboys era collapsed
and the Packers were able to outlast them, but you get the point. That
Packer team was clearly up and coming, however. It's hard to see this
team in the same way, but you never know what could happen.

I wouldn't read that much into the score. Football is the type of game
where one team gets rolling and then there's a wipeout. Maybe next
time will be different.

Exactly. We lost 2 very close games to them last year. This year the Eagles
have improved, while the Packers haven't really improved at all. So it's no
surprise that the Eagles would beat us by a larger margin this year.

Green Bay has so much talent at almost every position. If you have talent at
every position and you still don't win, what do you do? You fire the
coaches. I like Mike Sherman, but he seems too soft. What Green Bay needs is
a coach with fire in his eyes. Someone to give them an energectic spark.
