I think the lions will draft another rb but they will have to be really
sharp on this years draft picks because there are some linemen and some
wideouts that are out there that know one is talking about but they will be
stills......I also think the Lions 2000 schedule is in our favor as
well.....Out of the last 8 games only 3 of them will be played in cool
weather that's always a plus for the players and the fans.....I heard James
Stewart has already moved to Detroit and is very excited about getting to
know his new city and team.Jacksonville may have lost a great guy but the
lions have gained another one....I think we should give him a chance and
let him prove himself because 13 touchdowns and 900 plus yards while being
a backup to the ever so dangerous Fred Taylor isn't half bad!!!!!

I agree that the Lions will likely draft another RB, but I sure hope not, at
least not with a 1st! The single most important thing we need is a LG. LT is
a real close second because of concerns about Robert's knee.
Regarding the schedule, I don't like the fact that 3 out of 4 of our last
games are on the road, 2 of which are against Div. rivals. That kind of
sucks.
Don't look for James Stewart to necessarily be 1000 plus yard performer.
Hopefully, he'll be a guy that can carry a 4 YPC avg. and can move the
chains in short yardage situations. We don't really require a feature back,
Barry has proven that for us already.

CBS Sportsline in their mock draft has the Lions picking Shaun Alexander in
the first round. (I hope not) I would prefer another big offensive lineman
to go with Gibson. This could solve any running back problems or Q.B.
problems.

The up-coming draft should prove to be very exciting.Hoping the Lions don't waste them on RB
Positions. And go for either Defense Or an OL. A Strong Safety May even be rewarding.
If the lions do go for the RB, As mentioned before Shaun Alexander from UOA Crimson Tide is Nice.

Hey,

Just my two cents, but I think we're gonna have a choice between Ron Dayne or
Cosey Coleman, perhaps even Travis Claridge. I would love to have any one of
these guys, but my gut says Dayne will be our man. We'll see, I guess.

I would love to see the Lions get Ron Dayne, as long as they sign Ben
Coleman to shore up the O-line.

What kind of fullback could Dayne be in a two back set? Having Stewart and
Dayne together in a two back set could give the L:ions one AWESOME power
running attack!
