Every game is a potential win/loss,
every opponent can win, every team
can lose, you just never know 'til you
know.

Look at the close to 40% upset rate
in the NFL this season to come face
to face with the humbling knowledge
that every game is challenging to win.

Over-estimating one's chances of win-
ning & under-valuing any opponent are
key elements of risk that a team won't
adequately prepare for a game. Hope-
fully, the Cowboys won't do that in the
upcoming games vs the Texans & Jags.

The Jaguars had upset wins over the
Colts, Chargers, Raiders, & Ravens &
the Texans upset the Jaguars & tied
the Colts, so if I've said it once I've
said it many times, you just never
know 'til you know.

Right now, the Cowboys are a 17 point
favorite over the Texans & that doesn't
change the unrelenting fact that every
single game is a potential loss/win, you
just cannot know 'til you know & that's
either after the game or, sometimes, ...

... earlier than that if one's teams has
the fortune to be ahead by such a wide
margin that they send their backup QB
in not due to an injury to the starter but
due to being ahead by such a wide mar-
gin.
